Noontime visitors to Hewlett-Packard Co.'s Corporate offices in Palo Alto often find themselves treated to a mini-concert by employees performing the melodic "Star Trek" theme and Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2." And the buzz at the company's Cupertino complex comes from 65 choir members loosening their vocal chords with a familiar warm-up exercise....

There are many corporate choirs in the United States, including choruses at nearly 50 Fortune 500 companies such as HP, Ford Motor Co., Procter & Gamble, Westinghouse, 3M Corp. and Honeywell....
